Maintaining Your Tire Pressure

This service prevents uneven tread wear, because your tread wears down faster on some tires than on others. Rotating them means swapping the positions of the tires around your vehicle, so each tire gets a turn in a spot where it wears down faster than the others. Since all four tires get a turn in every spot on the car when you get regular tire rotations, they wear down at an even rate.
Getting Wheel Alignments
Your tires can also wear down unevenly if your wheels are out of alignment with your vehicle. Having a misaligned vehicle can also cause other problems that make driving harder and more dangerous.
